PRSM Group Sponsors Transgender Erotica Awards

LOS ANGELES — The adult-oriented public relations/marketing firm, the PRSM Group, has announced its first-time sponsorship of the 2016 Transgender Erotica Awards, to be held on Sunday, March 6 at the Avalon in Hollywood.

“I'm so thrilled to be a sponsor for this year's Transgender Erotica Awards," said Kelly Shibari, CEO for the PRSM Group. "The adult industry has always been at the forefront of showcasing the sexuality of diverse communities. So often, the work of those in niches has resulted in mainstream media picking up trends popularized in adult entertainment. The trans community is no exception: their vocal insistence to be accepted and their extremely sex-positive performances and the commitment by each performer to their brand is exactly why they should be celebrated. The PRSM Group honors all of the trans performers and companies who support their work, and we look forward to celebrating with all of the winners in March."

During her eight years in the adult entertainment industry, Shibari has worked as both a performer and a public relations executive. Shibari has also been a brand ambassador for several pleasure product companies.

“I've been a huge fan of Kelly's for years,” said Steven Grooby, owner of the transgender-oriented Grooby Productions. “So having her support something that we do is awesome, as she brings so much to everything she's involved in. I think many people in the adult industry are appreciating that trans performers and trans erotica are an integral part of the industry and are finding more places to work together. Having someone like Kelly Shibari sponsoring and involved with these awards just helps promote that. So I thank her very much.”

The Transgender Erotica Awards are now in their eighth year.
